Have fun, get fit, and compete.  Row!

NSC Juniors is a club rowing team for young women in grades 7-12 from all over the Chicagoland area. We offer a Spring and Fall competitive rowing program, indoor winter training, and summer developmental and recreational programs. Our athletes are one team comprised of young women from several different high schools. The team is devoted to developing competitive rowers in a collegial and challenging environment.

NORTH SUBURBAN CREW MISSION STATEMENT

NSC strives to inspire in our team a lifelong love of rowing and fitness, to provide opportunities for rowers to successfully compete in the sport, to teach respect for oneself and others, and to impart a drive to achieve on the water and in future endeavors.

Our vision is to emphasize good sportsmanship, encourage teamwork, and build strength of character and resilience in each oarswoman.

COMMITMENT TO SAFETY

NSC’s first priority is always to the safety of all individuals present. Participants will be required to either wear a life vest while on the water or provide proof of their swimming ability as witnessed by a lifeguard, teacher, or certified rowing coach.

All water activities entail some risk. As such, we ask participants to submit a signed liability waiver. For Junior rowers, this form must be signed by both the rower and the rower’s parent or guardian.
