Swimming ability is required for participation. Rowing is a water sport and it's important that rowers feel confident in the water in case of an emergency. All students must take and successfully complete the Swim Test (swim 50 yards, tread water for 10 minutes) prior to going out on the water. Go to the Juniors Commitment to Safety tab for full details and access to a printable Swim Test form.
NSC is committed to fostering resilience and expanding athletic and academic opportunities for young women through recreational and competitive rowing.
